Dear Hope

You have been a distant friend, though never truly gone. At times, your whisper felt faint, drowned out by doubts and distractions. Yet even in the shadow of despair, you spark a light that refuses to be extinguished. I see now, how absurd it is to search elsewhere. For what does atheism offer, but the burden of greater faith to accept its absurdity and the resilience to endure the hopelessness it brings? How much simpler, how much sweeter, it is to believe in God and rest in the hope He provides.

Today, I reach for you, Hope. I choose to hold onto you, not just in moments of light but especially in the darkness. And I pray, may you carry me forward, unwavering, grounded in the One who is the source of all things true and eternal.

"We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure."
